May he protect us, may he nourish us, may our actions be full of vigor and vitality
May our learning be brilliant, and may we cherish ill-feelings toward none Om peace, peace, peace! |
ॐ पूर्णमदः पूर्णमिदं पूर्णात् पूर्णमुदच्यते पूर्णस्य पूर्णमादाय पूर्णमेवावशिश्यते ॥ ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः ॥ |
oṃ pūrṇamadaḥ pūrṇamidaṃ pūrṇātpūrṇamudacyate । pūrṇasya pūrṇamādāya pūrṇamevāvaśiṣyate ॥ oṃ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ ॥ |
That is complete, this too is complete This completeness came from that completeness Though this completeness came from that completeness That completeness remains forever complete Om peace, peace, peace! |
ॐ असतो मा सद्गमय तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय मृत्योर्माऽमृतम् गमय ॥ ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः ॥ |
oṃ asato mā sadgamaya । tamaso mā jyotirgamaya । mṛtyormā amṛtaṃ gamaya । oṃ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ ॥ |
Lead me from unreal (untruth) to real (truth) Lead me from darkness to light Lead me from the fear of death to the knowledge of immortality. Om peace, peace, peace! |
