CAROL JAQUELINE FREEMAN, was born and raised in the country of Panama. Her hard working parents, an accountant and a lawyer, were and continue to be the first two role models from whom she learned her most valuable lessons. They taught her how to love and respect life in general and to be presence in everything you do. To care for others, to nurture our body as our temple and to be patience to avoid all kind of illness which they believe, that starts with stress. In 1995 she became citizen of United States and has been living with her husband and four beautiful children in North Carolina since 2003.
Carol is an Internationally Certified Group Fitness Instructor who has been active in the Fitness industry for over 23 years. She is currently certified by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), Sarah�s City Workout (SCW) Yoga fundamental 1/2, and License to teach Zumba. From an early age she was fascinated with sports, fitness and a healthy way of leaving and is when she discovered Dance and Fitness which made her pursue her dreams. The importance of stayed fit, in mind, body and soul brought success as a mother and as a professional.
In 1997, Carol discovered the wonderful benefits of Yoga. In her participation to the DC Annual Conference, she had the opportunity to meet and train with Baron Baptiste, the founder of the Baptiste Power Yoga Institute; Beth Shaw, the creator/founder of Yoga Fit, and other magnificent Yoga Instructors who came from all the world. Her Yoga practice is very versatile! With the passing of the years she has learned and practice different types of Yoga like, Hatha, Power Yoga, Vinyasa, John Friend with Anusara, Ashantanga, Iyengar, Yoga flow, Slow flow Vinyasa and Hot Vinyasa Yoga.
She is currently certified by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), SCW Hatha Yoga Instructor with Lawrence Biscotini, and have been trained recently by LifePower Yoga, and Jonny Kest who continue to study the Krishnamacharya Hatha method and is considered to be the father of modern Yoga.
The Rex Wellness Center in Cary, NC is where Carol Freeman is currently employed to teach Yoga, Pilates and all variety of fitness classes.
It�s now a honor to continue to teach those who are seeking to learn, what have I learned through out my journey. How to live a healthy way of life mentally and physically.
Remember Yoga is a legacy, a gift from above. To learn and practice is an honor that will keep the body subtle, lubricant and strong as we age from the inside out.
